The Sargam Project respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable law. If you believe that content available through our website or services infringes upon your copyright, please notify us using the process outlined below.

To file a copyright infringement notification with us, you must send a written communication to us at the address below, with all of the following information included:
1. A statement confirming that you have found content on The Sargam Project which you believe infringes your copyright.
Example: “I hereby confirm that I believe the Content identified below infringes my copyright.”
2. The country or countries where your copyright applies.
3. The title and a detailed description of the infringing content, along with the full URL of the page on which it appears.
4. An explanation of how the content infringes your copyright (e.g. copied text, unauthorized use of music, duplication of original visuals, etc.).
5. The type of work you claim has been infringed (e.g. a song, poem, video, photo, etc.) and supporting details such as the original title, date, publisher, or URL where the original work is available.
6. Your contact information, including your name, postal address, phone number, and a valid email address.
7. Contact information (email preferred) that we may share with the individual who posted the allegedly infringing content, so they can contact you directly.
8. Include this statement:“
I have a good faith belief that use of the copyrighted work described above is not authorized by the copyright owner (or by a third party who is legally entitled to do so on behalf of the copyright owner) and is not otherwise permitted by law.”
9. Include this declaration:
“I swear that the information contained in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or have an exclusive right in law to bring infringement proceedings with respect to its use.”
10. Sign the notice. If submitting by email, a scanned physical signature or a valid electronic signature is acceptable.
